Dispatching Capabilities
This extension of TrakitGPS enables users to effectively manage a fleet of trucks through direct communication with current dispatch software. The TrakitGPS dispatch screen allows you to see the status and location of your trucks and can integrate with your current dispatch software to update status changes and facilitate communication. Dispatchers can see what stage the delivery is in, who is going to the job, and who is returning and available for another load.
Payroll System Interface
Use TrakitGPS to integrate with your existing payroll system. Integrations with payroll systems save time and money by automating the time recording process. Login and logout times are automatically captured by TrakitGPS and available for export to Excel or your chosen payroll system. This valuable asset can enhance productivity and save costs by closely monitoring the times that driver's login and logout.
Auto Status Changes
Auto status changes are the result of vehicles entering into a "Hot Spot." This customizable and location specific feature allows for geographic regions to be marked as "Hot Spots." When a vehicle enters the geographic region marked as a "Hot Spot", possibly a delivery site or plant depending on your choice, the status changes for that vehicle. This feature allows vehicle statuses to automatically change without driver input. These locations are specific to an address or a longitude and latitude coordinate. Once the location is specified, a radius is chosen for the width of the active area. Permanent locations can be designated and locations can also be renewed each day. Plants are usually permanent "Hot Spots" and delivery locations are dynamic.
Reports
TrakitGPS creates comprehensive reports on all the activities of an employee's day. This information can be summarized to show group performance as well as fleet wide profile and performance.
  • GPS mapping provides "snail trails" that outline the entire path a truck driver took during the day.
  • Status breakdowns list all of the statuses that your vehicles or employees have been through in a day (or group of days). View all the times the statuses were entered and the amount of time spent in each status.
  • Time cards capture employee’s login and logout times as well as all of the answers to the questions asked during status changes.

Information Gathering
Information is collected from drivers through customizable questions that appear on the hand-held or hard-mount device. The questions are aimed at gathering valuable information from the same time that their status changes. This eliminates the need to recall information from memory that could be easily forgotten or confused. Some frequently used questions are:

  • What is your beginning and ending mileage?
  • What is your beginning and ending hour meter?
  • How much material was left over from your last load?
  • How much fuel was purchased?
